TimeMatters Tip of the Month

TimeMatters v10 - Matter Journal

The Time Matters Matter Journal (or Job/Project if you are using the general business version of TimeMatters) is designed to provide access to all records that fall within a date range and that are linked to a Matter. Within the Matter Journal screen area, a range of Time Matters information can be presented at one time, in one place, with a focus on the immediate or short-term information needs of specific Matters.  This is very useful if you want to get a quick overview of what’s happened and is about to happen on a matter re: appointments, to-do’s, phone calls, emails, billing records, related contacts, outlines and more.

You can add new records from the matter journal as well and Time Matters will add the matter reference to your new record.  For example, to add an appointment, simply click the ADD RECORD button on the toolbar of any open Matter Journal and you’ll immediately see the association in the appropriate fields. 

One of the best things that TimeMatters brings to your firm is organisation.  And the Matter Journal takes that level of organisation one step further by giving you everything you need in an easy to reference module.
